Mrs Laura Clarke - Emerald Community Kindergarten

We recently worked with Kym and his team from Nature Inspired Playgrounds on a capital works upgrade to our outdoor space, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.

As an early childhood centre, our vision was to create a more inclusive outdoor space, one that gave all children free access around our existing fort, while also being welcoming to parents, grandparents, and community members who visit. We wanted it to feel cohesive with our 15-year-old structure but still fresh, safe, and inspiring. Kym and his team listened carefully, worked tirelessly over two weeks of the September holidays, and brought that vision to life in the most beautiful and thoughtful way.

Their workmanship went above and beyond the original scope. They not only created what we had imagined, but also repaired and strengthened older areas, adding extra safety where wear and tear had taken its toll. The use of reclaimed natural timbers from our local area has given the space a special connection to country and a sense of authenticity that truly reflects our community.

What stands out most is their passion for early childhood environments. It’s clear in every detail that they care deeply about creating nature-inspired play spaces that children can freely explore and that educators can feel confident in. The result is a space that feels welcoming, inclusive, and connected, a place where children can play, families can gather, and our community can feel proud.

We are sincerely grateful for Kym’s vision, work ethic, and the relationship we’ve built throughout this project. Thanks to their hard work, our children will walk back into a transformed outdoor space on the very first day of Term Four. We would wholeheartedly recommend Nature Inspired Playgrounds for anyone wanting to create an outdoor environment that is safe, authentic, and inspiring.
