I’ve just seen lots of photos from joe of the Playscape today and I am so happy I could have cried.
Thank you both so much for your blood, sweat and probably tears... your creativity, capability and can do attitude has resulted in a truly unique and memorable Playscape. That was the goal from the beginning and I could not be happier. Thank you.
Firstly, we can not recommend Kym and Carol highly enough for any level of playground renovation or installation you may be doing. The experience and passion that Kym and Carol bring to a project means that they have the ability and drive to design and build their own play equipment and mould your environment into one that dreams are made of.
Recently we have used the Nature Inspired team to upgrade our Nursery, Toddler and Kindy Playgrounds and have been delighted with the both the process and the results. These new areas provide space, materials, equipment in a way that allows for non-intrusive adult supervision. They provide our children with freedom of choice, opportunity to explore, experiment, co-operate and manipulate materials, as well as providing scope for imagination and creativity. In our new playgrounds the children can operate in their own time and at their own pace, and experience the sheer joy of playing in freedom. They are by their very nature, places where children can be themselves.
We believe that a "Nature Inspired" playground is a self-discovery site of long-term value and that the concept and the reality are both worth investing in.

The staff, committee and families at Ipswich Kindy were keen to ensure an upgrade to our playground would support the children’s engagement and appreciation of the natural environment and enhance our park like setting and surroundings. This was a major project for our centre and we were extremely pleased with our decision to engage “Nature Inspired Playgrounds”.
Kym, Carol and Grant shared the vision for our playground and expertly transformed and enhanced our ‘mixed pot of ideas’ to create a wonderful natural learning space, which has fostered the children’s sense of exploration and discovery while encouraging their connection with nature.
Kym, Carol and Grant were extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the whole process and their ongoing consultation and communication with us was very reassuring. This constant collaboration ensured we had a space that suited our particular needs and environment.
Being able to observe the transformation, along with Kym, Carol and Grant’s patience and willingness to answer the children’s endless questions, only added to the children’s excitement and sense of ownership of the project as they explained what was happening to anyone visiting the centre. It was a truly positive experience for us all!

Kym and Carol were professional and easy to work with. I was impressed that they would travel up to our small rural town to view our playground and offer their ideas. They understood the vision that I wanted for our playground and were then able to make this a reality through their design. They were able to re-use some of our existing materials, incorporate a boat that we had been given, and managed to use local suppliers when they could. At all times they considered the safety and the impact they would have on the kindy and the children, they were able to work around our session times and they enjoyed having a chat with our children and answering their questions. I can't recommend them highly enough, and look forward to working with them on our next playground project.

Nature Inspired Playgrounds did an excellent job with our Tree House. The knowledge and expertise of Kym and Carol, helped us to make informed decisions and avoid potential problems.
Initial site visits and open communication made ideas and solutions easy to create throughout the whole process of the construction of the tree house. Nature Inspired Playgrounds easily adapted and made changes with-out any problems and came up with many clever solutions. They catered for the needs of our children and our centre. We had many discussions throughout the process from all parties involved to combine all our ideas.
We were extremely satisfied and pleased with the customer service provided. They explained all the groundwork and if we had a change in the weather got on top of things and kept the project moving along.
Carol and Kym were very efficient and we knew they would take care of things. Whenever we had concerns they were very friendly and informative.
Every step of the way, we were pleased with our experience, and Nature Inspired playgrounds made this possible.
From the word go Kym and Carol were an absolute delight to work with. For starters after I contacted them they drove from Brisbane to Gayndah to meet with me and assess the site, which is more than anyone had done for us previously. They were so enthusiastic right from the word go and were very easy to work with. What ensued was a design that was based on my ideas but brought to life and made so much more by their combined talents and creativity. We thank Kym and Carol for all that they did for our little country kindergarten and I would highly recommend them for any playground project you have in mind.

Kym and Carol de Lucy have been constructing playgrounds since 1983. Initially, their involvement was installation of prepared timber kits, but as playgrounds designs became more challenging, the structures became fully contructed on-site.
Playgrounds and playground structures became more custom designed play environments and integrated with landscape, shade, soft-fall, water play, sand and mud play, and included a wider array of materials, and textures. Kym and Carol have always moved ahead with the current times and risen to the challenges, regardless of how creative/ out of the ordinary the challenges became, imputing their own ideas, developed from observation of playgrounds in use.
Their work is always top notch, finished first class.
They work well with clients and authorities to ensure the end results are what best suits any given application.
